William C. Dunkle's Obituary
William C. Dunkle, age 72, of Tavares passed away on Friday, July 12, 2013. He was born July 8, 1941 in Parkers Landing, PA and moved to Tavares in 1985 from Michigan. He was a retired electrician and a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was a member of the Antiques Anonymous Car Club of Lake County and a member of the U.S.S. Galveston Shipmates Association. His hobbies included antique cars, camping, model trains, wood working, hunting and fishing. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Bonnie J. Dunkle of Tavares, FL; daughters, Karen (Richard) Shepherd of Paisley, FL and Diane (George) Dorris of Mt. Dora, FL; grandchildren, Brandon, Nikki, Kaitlin, Josie, and Erika. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wildey and Irene Dunkle; mother-in-law, Esther Dorman; and brother, Norman Dunkle. The family will receive friends on Monday, July 15, 2013 from 12:30PM until 1:00PM at Steverson Hamlin & Hilbish Funeral Home, Tavares. A Funeral Service will follow at 1:00PM in the chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Cornerstone Hospice, 2445 Lane Park Rd., Tavares, FL 32778.
