Bill will never be forgotten. Some of my greatest memories with Bill was when God put us together as roommates in 1976 @ MVNU. Late night Baseball Stratego games were the best! Bill was a man after the heart of God. He loved people. God loves people. See ya soon my friend.
Pastor and Geneva came into our lives as the pastor of the Eustis Church of the Nazarene. Our family helped to move them from Trenton and then we continued to move them throughout the next few years, as they needed assistance. Pastor had a wonderful rapport with my grandchildren, even befriending them by taking some of them to Spring training baseball games. He has laughed with our family over many meals, he has prayed with and for our family through these years, and we will miss him. Our love, thoughts and prayers are with all of the family.
We didn't get to spend much time getting to know Bill in person, but we know through the person of our "daughter-in-love" Chrysti that he was a loving, caring, and funny man who lived a life devoted to Christ. We loved hearing about his interactions with customers at Disney and Apple ~ many humorous antidotes but Bill would live out his faith in every interaction. We thank you, Bill (and Geneva) for raising a daughter who loves our son, our grandchildren and our extended family so very well ~ with the love of Christ. So blessed to know that we will all be reunited one day in the presence of Jesus. Rest in His arms, lean on Him, let Him comfort you though this time of mourning. Bill was my roommate in college and I was around when Bill and Geneva met. I remember so well digging out his 1967 VW Beetle from 3 feet of snow so we could be sure to make it to Utica Nazarene on time for church where Geneva's dad was Pastor. I am so saddened by his passing but so grateful we were able to get re-acquainted through Facebook in the last 5 years or so. Bill was a special and very Godly Man. Bill has now heard our Savior tell him "Well done, my faithful servant, well done."

I've just learned that Pr. Bill passed away. He had to defeat cancer to be able to be with our Lord. I'm really sorry for the family's loss and I pray that God would give them strength to get through this time of sorrow. We only met him once, but he let himself be used by God in such a way, through his words, that that encounter ended up being decisive in our lives and ministry. He'll always be remembered. He have had an honored life, and for that I'm inspired to become a honored servant of the Lord.
