William "Bill" P. Shoaf's Obituary
William P. “Bill” Shoaf of Mount Dora, Florida passed away on Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at the age of 73 years. He was born in Hartford, Connecticut. Bill proudly served his country in the US Army during Vietnam. Bill was a retired welder from Pratt and Whitney, aircraft engine manufacturers. He loved classic cars. He enjoyed working on classic cars with his best friends, Kevin and Larry. Bill enjoyed 50’s and 60’s music. He also held many awards for competitive weight lifting. Bill is remembered and will be dearly missed by his son, William P. Shoaf, Jr. and his wife, Marie and their two children, Jake and Zack of Fairfield, CT; daughter, Francine Nelson and her husband, James and their son, Preston of Higganum, CT; sister, Linda Shoaf Blinn and her husband, Robert of Rocky Hill, CT; nephew, Bobby Blinn; and brothers, John Shoaf and Robert Shoaf, both of Maryland. Condolences may be shared on the tribute wall.
