Marna Young Streetman
I grew up in Tavares, went to Tavares Elementary and High. Even though I was a year younger than Wayne I knew him pretty good. Wayne and I had several classes together in High School. Fondest memories of Wayne were in Band. Wayne was a drummer and I played the flute. He always made me laugh if I was down and would lend a friendly ear if I needed to talk. Band trips were the best and the trips for state competitions were the greatest. I moved out of FL in 1999 and was in FL when Forrest passed. I attended his funeral and was able to see and talk to Wayne. Even though it had been years we still spoke as if it were just yesterday that we had last spoken. Wayne my dear friend, I will always remember you very fondly. Thank you for being a part of my life and I know that you are without any pain now and are walking those streets of gold. Bye Wayne, I appreciate you.
