Wanda Faye Malsbury, 80, of Tavares, Florida, passed away on February 28, 2024, surrounded by her loved ones.
Born in Trenton, Ohio, to James and Pearl Lawson Arrowood, Wanda Faye was the beloved wife of Richard Malsbury, whom she married in 1983.
Wanda Faye is preceded in death by her 11 siblings and is survived by her sister Joyce Arrowood Kelly. She leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion through her children: James and Faith Carpenter, Miranda Jane Anderson, Allon Brent and Debbie Carpenter. She will be dearly missed by her grandchildren: Braley Carpenter and Scott Spencer, Nathan and Michele Stevic, Austin Anderson, Michael and Sabrina Dunleavy, Justin and Amanda Carpenter, Zach Carpenter, Mistie and Ryan Wyngard, Jessica Keoshain and Brooke Keoshian, as well as her great-grandchildren: Gavin, Blaze, Ada, and Richie.
In 1981, Wanda Faye relocated to Florida, where she dedicated her life to her family above all else. Known for her passion for cooking, crafting, and baking, Wanda Faye found joy in holidays and adorning her home for the festivities. She was a generous soul, always putting others before herself, making everyone feel included and welcomed. Her love extended not only to her family but also to her beloved pets: Toby, Raleigh, Corey, Zorro, and Odie.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate care staff at AdventHealth Waterman Hospital.
A celebration of life to honor Wanda Faye will be held at Steverson's Funeral Home in Tavares, Florida, on Wednesday, March 6th, 2024. The tribute will begin at 10:00 am, followed by the memorial service at 11:00 am. Attendees are encouraged to dress appropriately.
The family kindly requests donations to any local Sheltie rescue, a cause close to Wanda Faye's heart.
