Walter L. Bush's Obituary
Walter L. Bush, 83, of Mount Dora, FL., passed away on Saturday, April 11, 2015. He was born on January 17, 1932 in Joliet, IL to the late Walter L. Bush, Sr. and Loretto (McGrath) Bush. Wally served in the US Navy as a Yeoman Petty Officer Third Class from 1952-1956. He married Marjorie C. Shafransky on November 17, 1956 and she preceded him in death on July 19, 2010. He found love again and married Monica Monok on October 22, 2011. Wally retired to Mount Dora, FL from Janesville, WI. He held various data processing management positions prior to starting his own business, the W.L. Bush Company in 1974 that was incorporated in 1982 as Data Dimensions Corporation. Wally was the founder and served as Chief Executive Officer until his retirement in 2000. Wally was a true entrepreneur. Wally was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church. He was an avid golfer, found quite regularly on the course at the Country Club of Mount Dora. Wally loved a good round of golf with his friends. Wally is survived by his wife, Monica (Monok) Bush; daughters Loreen A. Bush and Nancy C. Becker (Mark); son Mark F. Bush (Kathleen); grandchildren, Maggie Specht, Joseph Cavanagh, Mary Ann Cavanagh, Christopher Cavanagh, Susan Koeberl (Matthew), Ryan Bush (Tammy), Kevin Bush; great-grandchildren, Jack Koeberl, Mason Koeberl, Claire Bush and Leo Bush; his brother John Bush (Joanne) of Sister Bay, Door County, WI. He is preceded in death by sisters, Anne B. Ghiglieri and Jeanne Hamilton. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 18, 2015 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Mount Dora, FL., with Father Bill Nolan as Celebrant. Memorial contributions may be made to Cornerstone Hospice, Patient Care, 2445 Lane Park Road, Tavares, FL. 32778.
