Dear Indiveri family,
We are so very sorry to hear of your loss. I knew Vince as the charasmatic father of my best friend Brian. I was a child growing up with his kids - down the street, in N. Dade County, FL. in the '60s and early '70s.
I always thought Mr. Indiveri was an amazing, diverse, adventurous and creative person. Many great qualities to bring as a role model for his kids. I considered myself lucky, and still do, to have often been taken along with his family on many adventures as a boy growing up. I got to experience working in the family restaurant - a great early work lesson, was taken along many times to play outdoor racketball with the guys, was included on several Indiveri family vacation trips in their big motorhome, etc, etc.
Lots of adventures to expand the life of a kid from a broken home down the street. I know my mom was also thankful for the outside guidance and inclusion shown me by the Indiveri family.
There are many fond memories that greatly added to my early life experience and growth, and a good deal of that was due to Mr. and Mrs. Indiveri's kindness and generosity to one of the neighborhood kids. So Vince was partly a role model for me too, and lucky and greatful is what I am for that fact. I just thought I would let you know that.
Deepest condolences,
Stuart Smith and family
