Veronica Bernadette Reilly's Obituary
Veronica Bernadette Reilly, age 85, of Mount Dora, Florida, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, July 4, 2026.
Born on May 20, 1941, in Glasgow, Scotland, Veronica was the daughter of John and Mary Gallagher. She made Florida her home for the past 52 years and built a life centered on family, faith, service, and friendship.
Veronica worked as a Shipping Supervisor for Aubrey Organics, where she was respected for her dedication and strong work ethic. A faithful member of St. Mary of the Lakes Catholic Church in Eustis, she found great comfort and community through her church. She also generously shared her time as a volunteer at the Mount Dora Library, where her kindness and warm spirit touched many lives.
Veronica will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Dean Cuddy and Jimmy Whittington; her daughters, Heather Fields and Linda Crain; her sister, Philly Wilson; five half-siblings; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and devotion to her family.
She was preceded in death by her sons, Thomas Cuddy and Brian Cuddy; and her sisters, Patsy and Margaret.
Veronica's family and friends will forever cherish the memories of her compassionate heart, gentle nature, and unwavering love for those around her.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Veronica's memory to Shriners Children's Hospital.
