My memory of Wayne Sheppard.

When I recieved the word that Mr. Sheppard had passed away, I could only imagine that moment because I wasn't there. My memories span over 40 years that I've known him, but during all those years I've only known Wayne to have one overriding focus. He was focused on crossing over from this life to the next.
He never said a word, wrote a poem, sang a song that wasn't focused on that moment when he would lay down his "cross"- the cares of this life- and exchange it for a "crown"- eternal life made possible through the actions of Jesus Christ.
