Thomas Franklin "Tom" Hayes' Obituary
Thomas Franklin "Tom" Hayes of Tavares, Florida passed away on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at the age of 75 years. He was born in Detroit, Michigan to Franklin and Clara Hayes, who preceded him in death. Tom worked for Ford Motor Company as a plumber and pipe fitter until his retirement. Tom met Diana line dancing. They fell in love and married. He and Diana moved to Tavares in 2013 from Tennessee. Tom enjoyed a good game of Golf. He loved to go fishing. He also enjoyed swimming. Tom is remembered and will be dearly missed by his wife of 17 years, Diana; son, Todd (Jenny) Hayes of Brighton, Michigan; step-sons, Garett Marshal (Nicole Johnson) of Beverly Hills, Florida and Eric Turner of Daytona Beach, Florida; brother, Ralph Hayes of Oregon and grandchildren, Ethan Hayes, Aiden Hayes and Taylor Turner. A graveside ceremony will be held on Thursday, September 15 at 2:30 pm at Lakeside Memory Gardens in Eustis, FL. Condolences, memories and photos may be shared in the tribute wall.
