Thomas Edward Denniston Sr.'s Obituary
Sadly, our Dad, Thomas Edward Denniston, Sr., peacefully entered his eternal rest on April 15, 2023, from complications of Lewy Parkinsons Dementia at Vista Lake Memory Care Facility in Leesburg, Fl. Under the compassionate care of Vitas Hospice.
Dad was a 4th of July baby, the youngest of six and was the only surviving sibling. Born in Lockport, NY, to Glenn and Alice (Horton) Denniston. He loved and is loved by his many nieces and nephews.
He worked as an electrician for 19 years in a Paper Mill. He then worked for 23 years at Harrison Radiator a General Motors Company working alongside our Mom. He married Rita Pencille in 1951. Our parents were inseparable and truly were each other’s best friend. They created a wonderful life enjoying us kids and our families and all their relatives and the many friends they met along the way whether it be at our summer cottage, while traveling, playing bingo, at one of the many clubs/organizations he belonged to or in the neighborhood my Dad could always make new friendships. Our parents renewed their 60th wedding vows with us kids in attendance. They were married for 68 yrs. My dad has deeply missed our Mom since her passing in 2019. He played his organ for her every single day at 4pm until he could no longer remember the keys.
Dad was so proud when he received his 50+ Lifetime Membership to the Moose international.
Another thing, he was proud of his family. Survived by:
