I just came across this obituary, and though I am late, I feel I must leave a memory. Tom was my classmate for eight years at SPN, and later at Marian College. Our growing up years at St. Philip's were amazing, and our class was always a gift to each of us. I can still see the Casserly family at Sunday Mass, or in attendance at our many parish activities. Tom was always a dear friend through our growing up years and I am so sad to see that he has died. I hope that you all are at a point that your precious memories have surpassed your grief, and that those memories bring you peace. I will continue to smile today remembering all the good days at SPN, and particularly with my dear friend, Tom.

Thank you Tom for your sacrifice & service, and for the great love you had for family and those around you! We are indebted by the love you and Carolyn showed our family in a great time of sorrow and need. We pray that the family can know the peace of God's comfort today and in the days to come. Tom will be greatly missed by the Romeo Breakfast Group and our favorite waitress Brittany who enjoyed his quick wit and sense of humor. He will be
missed by all of us who thought of him as a special friend.
Tom was a giving person who gave his time and talent in finance to Royal Harbor and we all benefited.
Carolyn and Tom were a team. They enjoyed their dogs and events at the Club House.,They sat down and planned their meals for two weeks at a time. They shopped together and went out to eat together. As time went on their devotion to each other was evident in their many trips to Mayo in Jacksonville and the many appointments at Waterman. They were an inspiration to all of us.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Carolyn, Kim, Charles, and the rest of the Casserly family during this difficult time.

Whenever Tom entered a room he was a force to be reckoned with, not only because of his large stature but also for the lust of life that showed on his face. He enjoyed going to activities in Royal Harbor and participated in "the neighborhood guys Breakfast Club" where i understood he could be the life of the party. He was a devoted husband to Carolyn, loved animals and his family. He was a wonderful neighbor. Tom's friendly attitude and pleasant personality with be missed in Royal Harbor. Carol Wasserman
