Terry D. Cox's Obituary
Terry D. Cox, of Tavares, passed away on Tuesday, August 11th, 2009 at the age of 54. He was born in Akron, Ohio to Paul and Mary Margaret Cox. Terry briefly served in the US Army. He moved to Titusville in 1973 from Akron. Terry relocated to Tavares in 2006. He worked as a Watch Engineer and retired from OUC - Orlando Utilities Commission in March 2008. Terry was an avid Harley Rider and Gator fan. He is remembered by his brothers, Jack Cox of Virginia and Rich (wife Ruthie) Cox of Tavares; sisters, Cindy (husband Al) Uber of Plantation, FL and Holly (husband Robert) Lockard of Olympia, WA; son, Steven Daft of Titusville and daughters, Terry Bubaker of Titusville, Fl,Kayleigh Holt of Daytona Beach, FL. Nices and nephews- Wendy Kicklighter, Bryan Cox, Patrick Lockard, Lori Clay, Mary Clay, Angela Gleason, David Antun. And more family and friends than there is room to list. A Memorial Ceremony will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2009 at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Cornerstone Hospice, 2445 Lane Park Road, Tavares, FL 32778. Arrangements are entrusted to Steverson, Hamlin & Hilbish Funeral Home and Cremation Services - 352-343-4444. Terry's memorial service will be Aug 22 at 11am. All are welcome to come say good by. Terry will ride his bike and you are encourage to ride your's. He knew you as freinds so he would be shocked to see you in a suite or dress. There will be a short ride with Terry after the servive and get together at 311 Banning Beach Rd, Tavares, Fl 32778.
