Terrence Warren Griffin Jr.'s Obituary
Terrence W. Griffin, Jr., age 75, of Yalaha, FL passed away on Tuesday, May 8, 2018. He was born March 8, 1943 in Rome, NY to Terrence W. Griffin, Sr. and Mary M. Griffin. He graduated from Yorktown High Schoool, Yorktown Heights, NY and attended Dutchess County (NY) Community College. He worked primarily as a salesman and was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving from 1962-1965. He was an avid reader, a Civil War and WWII buff, and loved gardening and target shooting. He was a member of the National Rifle Association and was a lifelong fan of the NY Yankees and the Syracuse Orangemen. He is survived by his daughter, Kimberly Twist of Tom’s River, NJ; brother, Paul Griffin and sister-in-law, Michele Griffin of Mt. Dora, FL; nephew, Derek (Amy) Griffin of Guilderland, NY; nieces, Alison Reese of Sanford, FL and Eve Griffin of Winter Garden, FL. He was preceded in death by his beloved nephew, Colin M. Griffin. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, May 19th, 2018 at 10:00AM, at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 526 North Park Ave., Winter Park, FL. Burial will be in Rome, NY on May 23rd.
