Teresa Mae Weller's Obituary
Once upon a time in a barn loft, a little girl was conceived and was given birth by cesarean on September 1, 1927, they named her Teresa Mae Faull.
She was a shy little girl but grew into an outwardly popular young lady. She was a member of the honor team in her high school and her pictures because she was an artist ended up in her annual on the year of her graduation.
When she was 14 years old, she met a handsome young man who worked in the grocery store. He would carry mother's packages out, and they would smile at each other. One day, the handsome young man disappeared because he went off to World War II. On his return, she met him again one day on the city bus. She had purchased a giant rabbit for her niece, and she turned around on the bus and hit him in the head with this big rabbit! He laughed at her and she smiled back. She saw him in the grocery store and they began to talk.
After a while, they became very close friends and had a lot of fun together and one day he turned to her and told her he would marry her. She said no way, but months later on December 22, 1946 they were married and lived happily ever after for 72 years upon his departure. They enjoyed doing many things together. She had always been with her father who was a hunter, so she enjoyed the woods, canoeing, biking, and kayaking and yes, camping.
She had two daughters, Deborah Lynn Weller Hedstrom, and Wendy Sue Weller Longworth, which have both survived her. Along with three grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren.
She was an accomplished artist making beautiful things that ended up in her home and in other people's homes. She made jewelry sculptures, even clothes for her entire family. She will be remembered fondly and will be deeply missed.
She is now with her beloved Harry together forever!
