Sylvia A. Colburn's Obituary
Sylvia A. Colburn of Eustis, passed away on Thursday, September 17, 2015 at the age of 67 years. She was born in Orlando to Isaac Daniel and Audrey Mae Sapp and has lived in central Florida ever since. Sylvia was an Accountant as well as a homemaker. She loved all kinds of crafts. She enjoyed making jewelry. She crocheted and quilted. She loved to draw and paint and she was a great cook and baker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy E. Collins on December 14, 2005, and by her grandson, Bud "Budman" Colburn, the gentle giant. She is remembered and will be dearly missed by her sons, Jamie Colburn of Eustis, Tony Colburn of Eustis and Scotty Colburn of Mount Dora; brothers, Butch Barkley of Massachusetts and Jerry Barkley of Orlando; grandchildren, Vanessa, Elizabeth, Patrick, Micah, Ethan and Abby and great grandchildren, Kassie, Isabell, Makenzie and Matthew. Family and friends are invited to gather on Wednesday, September 23 from 11:00 am until 12:00 noon. A memorial ceremony will start at 12:00 noon in the funeral home chapel. Condolences, memories and photos may be shared on the tribute wall.
