Sylvia Louise Briney's Obituary
Sylvia Louise MacKenzie Briney 71 of Tavares FL entered into rest on July 6, 2020. She was born in Norwalk, Connecticut on March 26,1949; Sylvia was a free spirit with an infectious laugh and generous heart. She enjoyed riding as a passenger on the back of a motorcycle, the ocean, especially Daytona Beach where she had many happy memories. She was a member of the Union Congregational United Church where she enjoyed volunteering for special events and assisting in the thrift store. She had a love of animals especially her rescue cats Breeze, Amber, Ocee and Princess. Sylvia enjoyed cooking, listen to music and was an avid reader. She was predeceased by her parents, and infant brother Norman. Sylvia is survived by her brothers Charles (Patti) MacKenzie, Walter (Judy) MacKenzie, several nieces and nephews and longtime friend Maggie Bassett.
