Sherry, Louie and myself send our deepest sympathy Bob. Our time together in Iowa was short but we are so glad we got the chance to meet you all. We hope the Hawks and Lulu keep you company and we are always just a phone call away. Rest in peace Susan.
I knew her as Suzy Norris back in the youth group and First Church of the Open Bible. We had some really good times even though her, Judy Alexander, Jan Smith (Pastor Frank Smith's daughter) and few others got in big trouble at church and had to go in and see Pasor Smith after church because we hit the offering bag sounding like we were putting money in and Judy hit the bottom which we t the money flying every where. So many memories I have of Rick Randy and Gayla. Rest in peace dear friend.
Uncle Robert: So, so sorry to hear about Aunt Suzi. The last time I saw you guys was at dinner in Des Moines quite a while ago. I also heard from her after all the hurricane issues last year. Hopefully I will see you at the Celebration of Life event in Des Moines in April. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this very difficult time.
Susan was one of those one-in-a-million people who was just so easy to talk to. We met her on one of her many daily walks with Lulu and immediately hit it off. Susan always said Lulu wanted to go for a walk as soon as she heard people on the tennis courts. So that is where we would see both of them, walking along. Sometimes Lulu paid attention to us. More often than not, Lulu was on a gecko hunt, which meant we were ignored. All we could do is laugh about it. We will miss Susan's ready smile and cheerful outlook on life. She always seemed to have everything under control no matter what had happened. Our lives are better because Susan graced our world. She will be missed terribly. We are so very sorry for your loss.
As long as I've known Suzy she always referred to Ric and I as kids. Even though she was only 3 years older than us. Ric said growing up her dad's nickname for her was bugs. Just want you to know I love you and will miss you even though we lived far away from each other and weren't able to spend much time together. Thank you for letting me take your maiden name Susan Norris as I let my sister in law take my maiden name Susan Yeary. Sending love and prayers to Bob and our entire family. RIP Susan Berry
