Sue B. Sanchez's Obituary
Sue Brogan Sanchez of Tavares passed away on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at the age of 88 years. She was born in Dixon, Kentucky and moved to this area in 1954 from Evansville, Indiana. Many years ago, Sue worked in a shop in Leesburg selling ladies dresses. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Tavares. Sue was also a homemaker, taking good care of her family. She enjoyed reading and playing Dominoes. She also loved sitting out with a good cup of coffee, especially at their mountain home in Blairsville, Georgia. Sue is survived by her husband of 43 years, Joe; son and daughter-in-law, James Michael and Kathy Baker of Inverness, Florida; son, John Robert Baker of Tavares; daughter, Elaine Baker of Waco, Georgia; grandchildren, Richard Michael (Linzy) Baker of Buford, GA, Jessica April (Jason) Wilkie of Canton, GA, Caitlin (Chris) Manigo of Germany and Hannah Norton of Dallas, TX; as well as 8 great grandchildren.
Family and friends are invited to gather on Sunday, August 19 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm in the funeral home chapel. Condolences, memories and photos may be shared on the tribute wall.
