Today, after months of texting you without hearing back, I asked Mariah to look you up on social media and ask why you had been ignoring me. Instead, we found your obituary. I was completely heartbroken.
From culinary school, to you becoming my pastry chef, to starting our journey together at Disney World, we shared so many years, adventures, and unforgettable laughs. We grew together as chefs and as friends, creating memories that I’ll always carry with me.
You were tough as steel, but anyone who truly knew you also knew you had the biggest heart. Your strength, determination, loyalty, and sense of humor made you one of a kind.
My heart aches for your family, especially your precious baby, Pipper. I can’t imagine the pain they’re experiencing, and they will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers.
Thank you for the memories, the laughter, the friendship, and the journey we shared. You left a lasting mark on so many lives, including mine and the kids. You will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.
