Sonja Gail Arthur's Obituary
Sonja Haselton Arthur of Leesburg, Florida, wife of the late E. Harold Arthur, entered eternal rest on May 16, 2026.
Sonja was born on December 17, 1942 to the late Donald and Martha Haselton. She was a member of GraceWay Church, Leesburg, an active volunteer serving the church on the hospitality committee, and an ordained deacon. She loved traveling, the beach, reading, gardening, crocheting. She was happiest when she was spending time with family and friends.
Sonja is survived by her children Scott Meeker (his wife Christy) who lives in Andover, Kansas, and Tanya Porter (her husband Kenny) who lives in Port Orange, Florida, four grandsons, three grandchildren by marriage, six great grandchildren, sisters Judith Baugher (husband Bill) and Mary Worth (husband Gene), two nieces, 2 nephews, and 2 great nieces.
Sonja is predeceased by her parents Don and Martha Haselton, her husband E. Harold Arthur, and Charles Meeker, father of her children, and stepdaughter, Pat Miller.
