Sheryl Lynn "Shel" DuBose's Obituary
Sheryl Lynn “Shel” DuBose of Tavares, Florida passed away on Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at the age of 56 years. She was born in Connersville, Indiana. She moved to Orlando with her family in the late 1960’s and graduated from Winter Park High School. After high school, Shel moved to Tallahassee, Florida and attended Florida State University. She relocated to Tavares in 2010. Shel was an Ad Executive for the Daily Commercial in Leesburg, Florida. She was a member of the Lake County Home Builders Association in Leesburg, was involved with the Chamber of Commerce and was very active in the Leesburg area events. She loved the water, enjoying the beach and boating. Shel loved gardening and traveling. She was preceded in death by her son, Dallas in 2009 and her father, Charles Richard Ault. She is remembered and will be dearly missed by her husband of 35 years, Larry; daughter, Jessica DuBose Leonard and her husband, Jonathan of Washington, DC; son, David DuBose of Tavares; her mother, Jane Ault of Tavares; sister, Judy Ault of Eustis, Florida; brothers, Jim Ault of Orlando and David Ault and his wife, Tanya of Orlando and niece, Emily Ault. A memorial ceremony will be held on Saturday, January 4 at 2:00 pm in the funeral home chapel. Friends are invited to gather from 1:30 until 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to the Dallas DuBose Memorial Fund – www.TheDallasFund.org Condolences, memories, photos and videos may be shared on the tribute wall.
