Shannon Michelle Pugh's Obituary
Shannon Pugh was born in Eustis, Florida on April 21, 1970 to Guy Dewitt and Linda Karen Creel. Soon after, brother Shane came along. Shannon loved him dearly and they were best friends. Shannon's family stayed in Lake County area, and she went to schools in Tavares. Graduating with honors from Tavares High School in 1988. She excelled at acting and theater. It was her true love and she had quite a few awards and scholarships to prove it. But she also loved nursing and chose that field. Again, she excelled at what she did. Whether it was running an extremely large patients' records room for Central Florida Cardiology, working the front desk for Lake Cardiology or patient care in the Skilled Nursing Facility at Florida Advent South. She was also executive assistant at the Tavares Chamber of Commerce and was a national ambassador for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Her other true love was her husband, Jim. She was ALWAYS there for him. When he made mistakes, she counseled and when he succeeded, she cheered. They were definitely a team. She was the glue in the relationship. But most of all, Shannon was known for just being a friendly and kind person to all she met. She was a bright light in her community and helped others in need.
