Sarah Louise Horst's Obituary
Sarah Louise Horst, best known as "Weezie", age 73, of Mt. Dora, FL peacefully passed and went to stay with her parents and friends in Heaven on Thursday, September 11, 2025. Born to Talton "Bud" Hall and Fayoma Pridgen in 1952. She has been a Florida girl all her life. She packed carrots, slung watermelons, picked oranges, and became a chef of some of the best home cooking you've ever had. Everyone always loved Weezie's Kitchen. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Roscoe Horst and her parents. She is survived by her daughter, Tina Bowerman; her two sons, Tommy Howard and Jeremiah May; grandchildren, Cierra, Kayla, Alisia, Morgan, Talton, little Jeremiah, Kylie, Karolyn, and Lance; great-grandchildren, Ryder, Amara, and Koa. Weezie's family was her world, she cherished each and every moment spent with them. She had lots of family and a ton of friends and will always be remembered for her hard work, most wonderful cooking and her most loving, beautiful self. She will be greatly missed.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 20, 2025 from 10:00AM until 12:00PM at Steverson Hamlin & Hilbish Funeral Home, Tavares. A Funeral Service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 12:00PM.
