Ruth Jane Marsh's Obituary
Ruth Jane Marsh of Lady Lake, Florida, formerly of Tavares, Florida, passed away on Friday, March 8, 2019 at the age of 90 years. She worked in retail sales for Sears for many years in Pennsylvania and in Leesburg. Ruth moved to Tavares from Elton, Pennsylvania in September 1988 and settled in Tiki Village, where she was a member of the Red Hat Society.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer, on September 15, 1989 after nearly 40 years of marriage. She was also preceded by her grandson, Adam Marsh. Ruth is remembered and will be dearly missed by her sons, Larry E. (Brenda) Marsh of Lilly, PA, Lee A. (Faye) Marsh of Greensboro, NC and Leonard R. Marsh of Winchester, VA; daughter, Linda C. (James) Sisco of Lady Lake; brother, George (Ordie) Lamer of Indiana, PA; sister, Evelyn Marsh of Bristol, PA; 5 grandchildren, Janis Sisco, Beverly Dillon, Billy Sisco, Tanya Marsh and Michael Marsh; 2 step-grandchildren, Brandon McMallen and Aaron McMallen; as well as 14 great grandchildren.
Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on Tuesday, March 12 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am with the funeral ceremony starting at 11:00 am in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Tavares Cemetery.
