Ruth F. Kilmer's Obituary
Ruth Fletcher Kilmer (Valentine), age 86, of Tavares, Florida passed away in her sleep on Sunday, June 26, 2011. She was born in Scott Depot, West Virginia on February 14, 1925. She joins her parents Ethel (Hodges) and Homer Fletcher; sister, Thelma; daughter, Patricia Faye Abraham; husband, Arthur Kilmer and Jesus, for she loves them all. Ruth was the owner of a flower shop and a country store at one time but is most remembered as an operator supervisor for Bell South Telephone where she retired from. Ruth is survived by granddaughter, Leila Renee' Abraham; stepdaughters, Diane Wesson, Gail Bender and Donna Sukhis; seven grandchildren and many great grandchildren. A viewing was held on Thursday, June 30, 2011 from 10am-12 noon with a funeral ceremony starting at 12 noon, all at the First Baptist Church of Tavares. Burial followed at the Tavares Cemetery.
