Russell Lee Tenet Sr., 96 of Tavares, FL, went home to be with the Lord on February 12, 2022. He was born on February 6, 1926, in Sharon Hill, PA. He worked as a sales manager in produce. Family was important to Russell, he loved music of all kinds, writing, singing and travel. Russell was a member of the First Baptist Church of Tavares, FL, a member of the Masonic Order, member of Gideon, and a Shriner
He is survived by his wife of 73 years: Margaret Tenet; Children: Mary Vandewater and Russell Tenet Jr.; two grandchildren and six great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and five sisters and brothers.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at 9:30AM at Steverson Hamlin and Hilbish Funeral Home in Tavares, FL. The family would like to thank The Gardens of Tavares and Compassionate Care Hospice. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Lake County Compassionate Care Hospice, 1645 W.
