Ruby E. Spann's Obituary
Ruby E. Spann, age 75, of Astatula passed away on Monday, July 1, 2013. She was born on December 31, 1937 in Bushnell, FL and moved to Astatula in 1958. She was a member of Astatula Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughter, Debbie McInturff of Leesburg, FL; son, Chris Spann of Paisley, FL; brothers, James “Buddy” Thomas of Corpus Christi, TX and Charles Thomas of Fruitland Park, FL; sisters, Anne Barnes, Doris Reese, and Linda Rowe all of Astatula, FL; grandchildren, Ashley Cox of Astatula, FL, Holly Spann, Amber Spann, and Kyle Spann all of Paisley, FL; 3 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Roger Spann; a son, Ricky Spann; a sister, Jeanette Connell; and a granddaughter, Stacy Pasill. The family will receive friends on Friday, July 5, 2013 from 10:00AM until 11:00AM at Astatula Baptist Church. A Funeral Service will follow at 11:00AM at the church. Interment will take place in Astatula Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Steverson, Hamlin & Hilbish Funerals and Cremations, 226 E. Burleigh Blvd., Tavares, FL 32778, (352)343-4444.
