Ruby Mae Moon's Obituary
Ruby Mae Moon, age 93, of Tavares, FL and Fraser, MI passed away on Friday, March 1, 2013. She was born December 29, 1919 in Hamilton, AL. She had been coming to FL from MI since 2003 as a "Snowbird". While in FL, she attended the Astatula Baptist Church. She is survived by her sons, James Howard Moon of Tavares, FL and David Wayne Moon of Roseville, MI; daughter, Julie Marie Creek of Roseville, MI; brother, Charles Edward Cole of Jasper, AL; sister, Mary Anne Lollar of Jasper, AL; 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard S. Moon; daughter, Debra Lynn Walczak; brother, James William Cole; sister, Bernice Blackwell; and three grandsons. The family will receive friends on Monday, March 4, 2013 from 1:00PM until 2:00PM at Astatula Baptist Church, Astatula, FL. A Funeral Service will follow at 2:00PM at the church. Interment will take place at Mackey Boshell Cemetery, Townley, AL at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Astatula Baptist Church Building Fund.
