Ruby Laura Brewer's Obituary
Ruby Laura Brewer, age 73, of Lake Jem passed away on Wednesday, March 26, 2014. She was born July 4, 1940 in Steele, MO. She was the owner/operator of a fruit harvesting business for many years. She was a member of Astatula Baptist Church. She is survived by her sons, Billy Joe Brewer of Lake Jem, FL, David Brewer of Zellwood, FL; daughters, Barbara Allen of Lake Jem, FL, Sharon Stewart of Leesburg, FL; sisters, Audrey Shockley of OH, Barbara Kemp of Lake Jem, FL; 11 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Brewer and son, Steve Brewer. The family will receive friends on Friday, March 28, 2014 from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at Steverson Hamlin & Hilbish Funeral Home, Tavares. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at 11:00AM at Astatula Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Astatula Cemetery.
