Ronnie Carol Dunham, age 87, of Astatula, Florida, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 23, 2026. Ronnie was born on May 4, 1938, in Tampa, Florida, to the late Carol McKelvy Dunham and Hilda L. (Barber) Dunham. He spent much of his life in Central Florida and moved to Lake County in 1999 from Kissimmee, where he had resided for many years. Throughout his life, Ronnie was known as a hard worker who took pride in doing things well. He held a variety of jobs over the years, including working as a shop foreman in an automotive repair shop, where his mechanical knowledge and leadership were well respected. He also proudly served his country as a veteran of the United States Air Force. Following his military service, Ronnie fulfilled a lifelong passion by earning his pilot’s license, a reflection of his adventurous spirit and love of aviation. Ronnie is survived by his loving wife, Kathy Dunham of Astatula, Florida, and his stepson, Jeremy Wilkins of Orlando, Florida. He was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Patricia Dunham. Ronnie will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his strong work ethic, and his quiet determination. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
