Ronald William Wagner's Obituary
It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Ronald W. Wagner on April 6th 2025 at the age of 89. In Tavares, Fl. He was a long time resident of Deerfield Beach, Fl.
Born in Chicago Il in 1935, the 4th of 6 children to the parents of Joseph P and Gertrude Josephine Wagner.
Ron left high school in 1954 and enlisted in the United States Army and was honorably discharged in 1956.
In 1958 he married Arlene had 3 children and at the advice of his older sister Deloris moved his family to Miami, Florida for better job opportunities and to flee the cold Chicago winters.
He had many jobs throughout his career, was a carpenter and painter by trade and he used to say he was a jack of all trades and a master of none.
Ron and Arlene Divorced in 1965. Married Yvette 1965-1968.
He later met the love of his life at the Polish American club. Esther though she was from Spain (long story). They were married in 1969 until her passing in August of 2023.
Ron had an outgoing personality. He enjoyed singing, listening to music and always had a joke, riddle or rhyme to share. He will be missed by many.
Proceeded in death by his wife Esther, parents Joseph and Gertrude Wagner, 2 older brothers Joseph (Tex), Richard Wagner and his 2 sisters Deloris Spero and Elaine Berenis.
Survived by his 3 children: Ronald, Rene and Roxanne. 5 Grandchildren: Stephanie, Phillip, Dane, Demitri and Amanda. His younger brother Wayne Wagner Sr. (Bernice), Sister-in-law Violet Wagner and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
