Roi W. Young's Obituary
Roi W. Young of Tavares, Florida passed away on Friday, February 6th, 2015 at the age of 75 years. He was born in St. Louis, Missouri and grew up in Chicago, Illinois. He served in the US Air Force. Roi was always on the go and had many hobbies and adventures. He raised horses, raced Indy cars and enjoyed offshore boat racing. Roi retired from the insurance industry. He and his wife, Dyan moved to Tavares in 2011 from Montana. He was preceded in death by his son, Dana Robert Young in 2003. Roi is remembered and will be dearly missed by his wife of 23 years, Dyan; daughters, Elizabeth Young of St. Louis, Missouri and Heather Young-Cooper and her husband, Matthew of Anthem, Arizona; sons, Shawn Vogel of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Ryan Vogel and his wife, Jamie of Chicago and Tyson Young of Orlando, Florida; brother, Arjay Young of Colorado; sisters, Nancy Young and Debbie Greenwalt, both of California; as well as 6 grandchildren.
