Rodney Byron Hedges' Obituary
Rodney B. Hedges passed in his sleep on March 12th, 2002. He is survived by his wife, Molly; sister, Rowena; brother-in-law, Bob Cruickshank; brother, Ron; sister-in-law, Dorothy; and sister, Raylene; many nieces and nephews and more friends than he knew. Rod was a longtime partner to his wife, Molly Birkimer. He was a proud Air Force veteran, long time biker, nature lover and an incredible artist. To say Rod was a character would be an understatement. He was a man of integrity and a good friend to his friends. He was happiest riding his motorcycle, walking in the woods, or painting. Rod and I rode all over this country and some of Canada on his 88 custom Softail. He will be greatly missed, he was the love of my life for over 34 years. There will be a celebration of life at the Golden Ox bar starting at 10:00AM Sunday March 27th in Florida and one at Lindy's Bar in Ohio at a later date.
