Robert William Taylor's Obituary
Robert William Taylor, age 79, of Mt. Dora, passed away on August 26, 2010. He was born in Peru, Indiana and moved to Mt. Dora in 1985 from Kokomo, IN. He served in the Army Reserves and was a member of the Moose Lodge, Elks Lodge and the American Legion. He was a Manufacturing Superintendent with Chrysler. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Mary Joan of Mt. Dora; son, James Taylor of Winter Springs, FL; daughter, Joyce Taylor of Indianapolis, IN; and grandchildren, James Taylor, Jr. and his wife, Heather, of Greenville, SC and Carolyn Freeman and her husband, Scott of Lake Mary, FL. A Funeral Service was held at 12 p.m. on Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at Steverson Hamlin & Hilbish Funeral Home. The family received friends two hours prior to the service from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations to American Heart Association or Cornerstone Hospice.
