Robert Lee Tucker's Obituary
Robert Lee Tucker, age 92, of Tavares passed away on Friday, May 14, 2021. He was born November 30, 1928 in Coesse, IN. He was a retired self-employed contractor, with a skill for remodeling. He loved life and took great pride in being the Commander of the Sons of AMVETS, Mt. Dora. He is survived by the families of the Sons of AMVETS; his son, Jim Tucker of Ossian, IN; daughters, Marsha Brown and her husband, Jeff of Ft. Wayne, IN, Bobbi French and her husband Jeff of Ft. Wayne, IN; sister, Garthena Tucker of ft. Wayne, IN; 8 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde Tucker and Ola Gaines Tucker; Step-mother, Helen Tucker; and sisters, Gloria Mullett and Patricia Tucker. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at 11:00AM at the AMVETS in Mount Dora. Arrangements have been entrusted to Steverson, Hamlin & Hilbish Funerals and Cremations, 226 E. Burleigh Blvd., Tavares, FL 32778, (352)343-4444. The family is having a celebration of life memorial service and pot luck dinner on October 9, 2021 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM and will be held at the Senior Citizens Center, 223 Main Street in Fort Wayne, Florida.
