Robert R. Liffick's Obituary
Mr. Robert R. Liffick, of Leesburg, FL, passed away on Thursday, March 24, 2011 at the age of 84 years. He was born in Dayton, OH. Robert served his country in the US Navy during WWII. He returned to Dayton and worked as a printer for Standard Register Company until his retirement after 38 years of service. In 1989, he and his wife, Pat, moved to Leesburg from Dayton. He was a big sports fan and loved to watch the games on TV. He is remembered by his wife of 57 years, Patricia; daughters, Cynde Liffick of Richmond, VA and Jayne Liffick and her husband, Carey Clutts of Novato, CA; sister, Iris Hammel of Nashville, TN and his granddaughter, Emma Claire Liffick of Novato, CA. Inurnment and military honors were on Friday, April 1, 2011 at 10:00 am at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Cornerstone Hospice, 2445 Lane Park Road, Tavares, FL 32778. Arrangements were entrusted to Steverson, Hamlin & Hilbish Funerals and Cremations, Tavares, FL, 352-343-4444. Condolences may be left for the family by signing the guestbook below!
