Robert L. Jaques, 78, went to be with his Lord on Friday, January 31, 2020. Born on February 26, 1941 in Charleston, West Virginia to Dave Roy & Lucille Jaques. Robert served and retired from the United States Navy. He is survived by his beloved wife Linda Diane, from Dayton, Ohio, his three sons; Robert Scott Jaques, James Roy Jaques and Stacey Eugene Jaques. Two daughters; Debra Sue Watkins, Terry Lea Jaques and 14 grandchildren. He is also survived by two brothers; Tom and Gene Jaques and one sister, Janet Cargil. A gathering of family and friends is scheduled for Wednesday, February 5th from 2:00 to 3:00 PM at Steverson, Hamlin & Hilbish Funeral Home, 226 E. Burliegh Blvd., Tavares, Florida 32778. A celebration of life service is scheduled at 3:00 PM immediately following the gathering. Robert's final place of rest will be with his comrades at arms at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida at a later date and in private.
