Robert H. Walker's Obituary
Robert H. "Bob" Walker, of Tavares, FL, passed away on Monday, June 22nd, 2009 at the age of 71 years. Robert was born in Detroit, Michigan on March 3rd, 1938 to Allen George and Theodora Fay (Ingles) Walker. He served in the National Guard and Army reserves. Bob retired from the Macomb County Appraisers Office in Michigan. He moved to central Florida from Romeo, Michigan in 1996. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Eustis, the Eustis Gun Club, was a life member of the NRA, was a member of the Elks - Eustis Lodge # 1578, Free and Accepted Masons in Sandusky, MI - Commandery No. 27, Lexington, MI - and was former High Priest in the Royal Arch Masons in Romeo, MI, chapter 17. Bob is remembered by his wife of 46 years, Pat; sons, Donald (Diane) Walker of Holly, MI and David (Susan) Walker of Tavares; brother, Gary (Pauline) Walker of Argyle, MI and grandchildren, Rhiannon, Devany, Nicole and Christina. The family will be accepting friends for visitation on Thursday, June 25th from 10 - 11 am, with a funeral service starting at 11 am, all at the funeral home chapel. Entombment will follow at Lakeside Memory Gardens in Eustis. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Amyloidosis Foundation, Inc. 7151 N.
