Robert Patton Fulton's Obituary
Robert Patton ‘Bob’ Fulton of Tavares, Florida passed away on Sunday, March 10, 2019 at the age of 95 years. He was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Bob proudly served his country in the US Army in World War II. He fought in the Battle of the Bulge after landing on Normandy beach during a subsequent wave of troops. After returning home, he owned an appliance repair business. He later worked fixing business machines in Pennsylvania. Bob moved to Florida in 1972 and relocated to Tavares from Casselberry in 2008. He was a member of the Elks Lodge #1578 in Tavares. Bob was also talented at woodworking and enjoyed landscaping, watching football games and ballroom dancing.
He was preceded in death by his wife Barbara in 2002 after 47 years of marriage. He was also preceded by his son, Robert W. ‘Bobby’ Fulton in 1967. Bob is remembered and will be dearly missed by his son and daughter-in-law, Craig and Rebecca Fulton on Chattanooga, Tennessee; granddaughter, Jennifer (John) Beamer of Jacksonville, Florida and great grandson, William Beamer.
A memorial ceremony will start at 1:00 pm on Friday, April 26 in the funeral home chapel.
