Robert W. Clarkson's Obituary
Robert W. Clarkson, age 89, of Tavares passed away on Sunday, November 25, 2018. He was born June 15, 1929 in Dayton, OH to Robert N. Clarkson and Marian (Froebe) Clarkson. As a child he was stricken with Polio, he had a metal brace so he could walk. He was married to Elva (Hampton) and had two sons, Robert and William (both deceased); two daughters, Angeleta and Debbie (deceased). He married his second wife, Cynthia Stewart (deceased) and helped raise her young children. He lived in Greene County and Riverside, Ohio. He moved to Florida in 2011 and enjoyed meeting new people at the Ruby Street Grill in Tavares. He is survived by his daughter, Angeleta Banner and her husband, Peter of Tavares, Florida. Christine and Jay Wilson of Mason, Ohio and Daniel Stewart of Dayton, Ohio. Five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He never let his disability stop him and would outwork many in his chosen field of heating and air conditioning. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Steverson, Hamlin & Hilbish Funerals and Cremations, 226 E. Burleigh Blvd., Tavares, FL 32778, (352)343-4444.
