Robert "Bob" Allen Finnell's Obituary
Robert “Bob” Allen Finnell, 70, of Fruitland Park, FL went to be with the Lord on Friday, December 08, 2017. Bob was born on February 26, 1947 in Covington, KY to the late Calvin and Edna Finnell. Bob moved to Florida in 1983 from Kentucky. He was an active member of Leesburg Missionary Baptist Church. Bob was also a Proud Veteran who served our grateful nation until he was honorably discharged on March 13, 1972. After Bob moved to Florida he became the owner of Lake Limo Inc. from 1983 to 1989. He then bought FDC and automotive parts service and ran a thriving business until 2005. Bob was a funny man who enjoyed playing golf, joking with his son Scott and brother Edward, and spending time with his loving family. Bob is predeceased by his Son: Scott A. Finnell. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years: Linda Kay Finnell, of Fruitland Park, FL; Brother: Edward (Judy) Finnell, of Port Orange, FL; Sister Mary S. Finnell, of Clermont, FL; and several Nieces and Nephews. Bob was a loving husband, father, brother, and friend who will be deeply missed by many. A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at 2:00Pm at Leesburg Missionary Baptist Church, located at: 2340 South St. Leesburg, FL 34748. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the church by mail. Memories and condolences may be shared with the family on the tribute wall.
