Richard J.J. Smith “Dick” Passed away peacefully on November 26, 2016 at the age of 77 at his residence in Florida. He is survived by his beloved Wife of 53 years, Nancy (nee Setzke). Loving father of Carolyn (Robert) Joerg, Amy (Todd) King, Michael (Peggy), and Becky. Proud Grandfather of Austin, Alec, Max, Drew, Jordan, Alyssa, and Maggie. Devoted Brother of Diane McDonald (Randy), Sharon Sleeth, Kenneth (Marcia) and the late Barbara Phillips and Ronald. Also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Dick was the Founder of Dick Smith’s Live Bait & Tackle in Delafield. He loved to share his passion of fishing by educating people of all ages on how to fish. He also had a number of hobbies which included Fishing, Hunting, Gardening, Painting, Wood Carving, Taxidermy, Brew Master, Cooking, and Writing.
A celebration of life will be held on January 3, 2017 from 4:00-8:00pm at Seven Seas in Hartland.
Services have been entrusted to Steverson Hamlin and Hilbish Funerals and Cremations. Online Condolences and memories may be shard on the tribute wall.
