Richard J. Marcello's Obituary
Richard J. Marcello, age 76, of Leesburg, FL passed away on Wednesday, September 7, 2016. He was born February 19, 1940 in West Warwick, RI and moved to Florida in 1979. He was a retired bar owner and a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was an avid baseball fan, especially the Tampa Bay Rays. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Linda L. Marcello of Leesburg, FL; sons, Richard J. Marcello, Jr. of Ocala, FL, Michael D. Marcello of Mill Spring, NC; daughter, Deborah Zimmer of Leesburg, FL; brother, David Marcello of Cocoa Beach, FL; sister, Betty Muszynski of Fountain Valley, CA; 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Frances Marcello; and a brother, Frank Marcello. The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 10, 2016 from 8:30AM until 9:30AM at Steverson Hamlin & Hilbish Funeral Home, Tavares. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at 10:00AM at St. Mary of the Lakes Catholic Church, Eustis. Interment will follow at Lakeside Memory Gardens, Eustis. Arrangements have been entrusted to Steverson, Hamlin & Hilbish Funerals and Cremations, 226 E. Burleigh Blvd., Tavares, FL 32778, (352)343-4444. Online condolences may be left on the Tribute Wall.
