Richard Charles Stanyard's Obituary
Mr. Richard Charles Stanyard, 84, of Ruleme Center, Eustis, FL, passed away on Monday, November 15, 2010. He was born in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania on October 19, 1926. He moved to the Tavares/Eustis area from Melbourne, FL in 2007. He served his country in WWII in the US Army, 384th Air Service Group. Richard retired from New York Central Railroad, worked for an aspirin company and then managed several apartment buildings. He was a member of the American Legion, Post 458 in Ardsley, NY. He was an accomplished pianist. Richard is remembered by his wife of 59 years, Angela; son, Edward of Lake Mary, FL; daughters, Darlene Lynn (James) King of Sorrento, FL and Barbara Jean (Frank) Traina of Palm Bay, FL; 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Richard Allen Stanyard and his sister, Vivian Englert. Friends were invited to gather for viewing on Sunday, November 21, 2010 from 2 – 4 pm in the funeral home. A graveside ceremony started at 11 am on Monday, November 22, 2010 at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.
