Richard Donald Beck's Obituary
Richard Donald Beck of Astatula, Florida passed away on Friday, September 4, 2015 at the age of 51 years. He was born in Gainesville, Florida. He worked as a manager for US Walls and Ceilings.
His passion in life was riding his motorcycle. He loved the freedom of the road, the wind in his face, the smell of nature and the awareness of the world around him. He even took flying lessons and learned to fly a Piper Cub, searching for the same feeling of freedom of his bike.
He will be dearly missed by his mom and dad, Ella May and Melvin E. Beck of Astatula; brothers, Chris Eugene Beck and his wife, Dawn of Fountain, Florida and Mark Beck of Lady Lake, Florida; sisters, Sandra Joy Kimpel and her husband, Lyle of Tavares, Florida and Susan Parker of Astatula; and his dog, Bear.
Family and friends are invited to gather for viewing on Tuesday, September 8 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm in the funeral home chapel. A funeral ceremony will start at 11:00 am on Wednesday at Astatula Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Astatula Cemetery.
