Rhonda Smyers' Obituary
Ms. Rhonda Smyers of Deland, Florida passed away on Monday, January 14, 2013 at the age of 52 years. She was born in Defiance, Ohio and grew up in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Rhonda moved to Florida from Fort Wayne in 1990, living in Satellite Beach, Jacksonville and finally settling in Deland. Several years ago she worked as a pharmaceutical rep. but most recently Rhonda was a registered financial advisor. She is remembered and will be dearly missed by her life partner, Robert Moran of Deland; sons, Michael Smyers and his fiancee, Sara Garrity of Daytona Beach, Florida and Daniel (Suanam) Smyers of Brazil; mother, Phyllis Moore of Mount Dora, Florida; sister, Linda (Christopher) Mapp of Sebring, Florida; and brothers, Raymond Moore of Mount Dora, Michael Moore of Mount Dora and Gary Moore of Fort Wayne, Indiana. A memorial ceremony will be held on Friday, March 1 at 11:00 am at the First United Methodist Church of Tavares, 600 W. Ianthe St., Tavares, FL. Arrangements are entrusted to Steverson, Hamlin & Hilbish Funerals and Cremations, Tavares, FL. Condolences and memories may be shared by signing the tribute wall.
