Raymond Melvin Sikes' Obituary
Raymond Melvin Sikes, age 68, of Astatula passed away on Monday, September 9, 2013 following a lengthy illness. He was born August 29, 1945 in Hacoda, AL. He was a retired plant manager and a veteran of the U.S. Army. He is survived by his wife, Joyce Sikes; children, Bobby Hobgood, Ricky Hobgood, Cindy Jones, Becky Green, Gina Ervin and Troy Sikes; sisters, Betty Andrews, Avie Keith and Sue Sikes; brothers, Roy Sikes and Ernest Sikes; 13 grandchildren, 8 great-granddaughters, and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Friday, September 13, 2013 from 1:00PM until 2:00PM at Steverson Hamlin & Hilbish Funeral Home, Tavares. A Funeral Service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 2:00PM. Arrangements have been entrusted to Steverson, Hamlin & Hilbish Funerals and Cremations, 226 E.
