Ralph was a great man. When two young partners get together, the most important thing is to feel the open arms from the other’s family and, most importantly, their parents. Being greeted with open arms and to be accepted into the family. Ralph did exactly that with me.
I didn’t have the greatest support system growing up with my own father. Ralph filled the hole in my heart with his own love and accepted me as a son and the other half of his true son.
Ralph always was caring of others, loved to laugh and joke, be spontaneous, a hard worker, a listening ear or support system, and was a true gentleman, and it shows with all who he interacted with and got to know. He treated everyone with this same treatment. He always looked on the bright side of things even when times are trying. But most importantly, Ralph put family first.
He was always there when anyone in the family needed help or an ear to vent. From handy work and knowing how to fix just about anything, to his amazing cookouts he would love to host for his people. From the moment I met Ralph, you can just see his radiance of a wonderful father doing the best he can to be there for his family.
Ralph will forever hold a special place in my heart as the father figure he was for me and the true father he was for my fiancé. We will continue to make you proud, Papa Ralph, and I know you are smiling at us from above as you continue to watch us grow and support one another. Love you, Papa Ralph, forever and always. ❤️ 🕊️
