Ralph Mason Lusk's Obituary
Ralph Mason Lusk completed his life journey on May 26, 2021. Ralph was proud to have been born and raised in his beloved Spanishburg, West Virginia. He was the son of Edward James and Mamie Massey Lusk. He joined the Army at age 18 and served as a driver/mechanic for the 11th Army Evacuation Hospital Unit during World War II. He married Amel Brown and subsequently relocated to Central Florida. He was a Research Farm Manager for the Chevron Chemical Company until retirement. Ralph had a reputation as a resourceful handyman, a gardener, an Orlando Magic fan, and an avid bingo player. His charming but unbridled quick wit often got him in trouble and provided stories that will live on in family history.
Ralph was husband to Amel Brown Lusk who preceded him in death. He is survived by four daughters, Carmen Fogarty and husband Ron, Connie Boutwell and husband Travies, Sr., Diana Chickonski, and Sharon Lusk; and one son, Ralph Lusk, Jr. He has eight grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. He was a true family patriarch who was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Cornerstone Hospice, 2445 Lane Park Road, Tavares, Florida 32778.
